<description>In the post, post-9/11 world it seems as though the world has been divided between those who are highly politically charged and those who’s attention has been stolen by the latest infotainment bit. Somewhere in between these groups there lies a humanity that many of us have lost touch with. What did you see? What did you hear? Where were you? How did you feel? What is your memory of September 11th, 2001? How your and yours life changed since?

These are the questions that will bring us back to the day the world watched New York with a shock .
This project would like to transform this milestone collective memory to a moment of solidarity. Today there is a void where a global conversation should exist. The consequences of the September 2001 attacks have been so widespread and impactful that they have left us divided. We have divided ourselves with fear, ‘othering’ and political biases.; others within our community and others miles away.

My September 11 will provide the platform, the community and the inspiration for the international public to come together and not only remember the past but also celebrate the hopes for a positive, peaceful future.

The project will include a unique website, www.myseptember11.org, that will showcase a wide collection of inspirational quotes as well as stories and interviews with leaders, thinkers, artists and activists who have been touched by the war on terror. These stories will take users back in time to Sep 11, 2001 and inspire them to share personal memories and stories by using text, images and videos relating to how 9/11 and the war on terror has changed their lives.

In addition to our online presence we will include a large offline production event in collaboration with Media Facads festival in Europe and other urban screens around the world. We will produce large-scale interactive live events in various major cities around the world marking the 11th anniversary of the attacks. The events will be broadcasted simultaneously online and will include stories, discussions, artistic installations and on-site interaction between online and offline participants.

All together we will unite the amateur, the professional, the online, the offline, the local, the international, and those who were affected directly and indirectly by the September 11th, 2001 attacks.

Maayan Cohen is the creative producer of My September 11th and currently leading its development process. The project is owned by Amythos Media.

<description>The Smart Woman Survival Guide takes place behind the scenes of a fictional lifestyle program called Smart Woman. Like Sex and the City, The Smart Woman Survival Guide follows a group of women who bond over their work, lives and loves.

Alongside the entertaining, sometimes ridiculous but always relatable situations in which the leading ladies find themselves, the audience is presented with tips, how-tos and information that today’s “smart woman” would find valuable.

As the interactive editor of the series, I created the content for the site, experts interviews, game and behind the scenes and linked them with their related tips.

<description>100 Mile Challenge is a documentary series on the Food Network that follows six families from the town of Mission, B.C., who have agreed to eat only foods grown, produced and raised within 100 miles of their homes for 100 days. Taking the project one step beyond the television screen, Spring Water Media, directed and edited short compelling stories featured on the Food Network's interactive site, that look at how people across Canada are engaging with the idea of eating local food. Have you ever wanted to grow your own garden but didn't have a space for it? interested to know how to encourage your kids to eat local food? watch below and maybe even take the challenge yourself!

The 100-mile diet? How about the 100-metre diet? The cheapest way to enjoy local food is to grow it! Share your backyard with others and learn how to grow your own food while developing a self-sustained lifestyle.Director &#38; Editor- Maayan Cohen

Start a healthy lifestyle at an early age! Fresh, organic produce just plain tastes better. If we want our kids to eat fruits and veggies, we need to give them the best fruits and veggies we can find. As an added bonus, this also supports the local food community.Director &#38; Editor- Maayan Cohen

With our fast-paced lifestyles, there's nothing like a relaxing bike ride and the taste of slow-grown food. The Slow Food Cycle, held every summer near Pemberton, BC, is an opportunity for people to get out, meet the farmers who grow our food, and - of course - sample their wares.Director &#38; Editor- Maayan Cohen

Feast of Fields is a harvest festival and family feast that takes place in communities across the country. Grab your wine glass and prepare your taste buds for a wonderful celebration of local food and magnificent flavors.
